We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is critical for leading our infrastructure
provisioning efforts providing advanced technical support resolving complex issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our GCP environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep
knowledge of GCP services a strong background in infrastructure as code using Terraform excellent problem-solving skills and proven leadership abilities.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with core GCP services.
Proven experience in a leadership or technical lead role.
Technical Skills:
Expert proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and managing GCP infrastructure.
Strong experience with creating managing and versioning Terraform modules and state.
Strong proficiency in GCP services (e.g. Compute Engine Cloud Storage VPC IAM Cloud SQL).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Cloud Monitoring Cloud Logging Prometheus Grafana).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker GKE Kubernetes) is a plus.
Experience with other automation tools like Ansible is beneficial.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
