Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire Day Shift MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM Overtime as needed occasional rotating weekends

Job Summary

Pronto Staffing is hiring a Janitorial Shift Lead for a busy local travel center facility. This is a hands-on role where you will perform daily cleaning duties while also helping guide the janitorial team. The ideal candidate will keep the facility looking great help coworkers stay on task and communicate professionally with the public.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the cleaning team with daily assignments like restrooms common areas windows and entryways

• Sweep mop vacuum dust wipe down surfaces and empty trash cans

• Inspect finished work to make sure it meets quality standards

• Assign daily tasks help the team prioritize work and train new employees

• Report facility issues maintenance concerns and supply needs to management

• Follow all safety procedures company policies and uniform guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial work housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred

• Good leadership skills and the ability to organize daily tasks

• Ability to speak and understand English clearly

• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

• Background check may be required

Work Environment

• Standing and walking for the majority of a 10-hour shift

• Light lifting required on a regular basis

• Working both indoors and outdoors around a travel center facility

• Exposure to outdoor weather elements throughout the day
