Role: Lead Cloud Data Platform Engineer
Locations - Charlotte Irving Chandler Columbus Des Moines and Minneapolis- Hybrid
About the role: Lead Cloud Data Platform Engineer
Hands on data engineering role with strong preference for Google Cloud Platform experience. Manager clarified this is not an AI first role. The priority is a true data engineer who is actively coding building data pipelines and working with cloud based data platforms.
Must have strong experience with Python Spark Airflow Cloud Composer and GCP. and React are also now considered required not just a plus. Candidate does not need to be a senior front end developer but must be able to build simple standalone web interfaces forms and workflows that connect to backend data ML or AI models.
AI experience is helpful but do not over filter for LangChain RAG or Graph RAG. Those are nice to have not core requirements.
Ideal candidate is a hands on data engineer first with practical and React experience. Must be able to clearly explain work they personally built. Conversion is yes and candidate must be open to converting to full time.
