Job Summary
Mintahoe Catering & Events is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to support and grow within our sales team. This is an entry-level developmental role designed for someone eager to learn the events and catering industry while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in sales.
In this role you will support the full sales lifecycle from lead response through booking while learning the standards pace and mindset required to succeed as a Sales Consultant at Mintahoe. You will assist with tours proposals bookings and client communication gradually taking on increased responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
This position offers hands-on training mentorship and daily exposure to high-quality events iconic venues and real client decision-making- creating a clear pathway into a full sales role over time.
What Youll Learn & Support
As a Sales Coordinator you will work closely with senior members of the sales team while developing core sales skills operational knowledge and professional confidence.
Sales Support & Lead Coordination
- Assist in managing and qualifying incoming sales leads
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism warmth and attention to detail
- Support timely follow-up to help maintain client momentum
Client Experience & Tours
- Help coordinate and support venue tours tastings and consultations
- Learn how to guide clients through decision-making with clarity and confidence
- Observe and assist with relationship-driven sales conversations
Proposals Bookings & Documentation
- Assist in the preparation and processing of proposals contracts and bookings
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal tracking systems
- Learn the importance of speed accuracy and organization in protecting revenue
Team & Internal Collaboration
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team
- Collaborate with venue managers culinary operations and marketing teams
- Ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication throughout the sales process
Marketing Support
- Capture photo and video content at events tours tastings and open houses
- Film short-form video clips for social media and marketing use
- Collaborate with marketing to gather needed on-site content and assets
- Share photos videos vendor details and event notes in an organized timely manner
- Help identify strong content moments that showcase Mintahoes venues food service and client experience
Professional Development
- Learn Mintahoes venues services pricing structures and sales standards
- Develop time management organization and follow-through habits
- Gradually take on more ownership as skills and experience grow
What Were Looking For
- Strong interest in sales hospitality events or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Positive team-first mindset with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced client-facing environment
- Previous experience in hospitality events or sales support is a plus but not required
