This role supports our corporate headquartersin Lexington Park MD.
Job Description and Responsibilities:Support senior analysts or program managers in evaluating monitoring and improving programs systems and -depth research into financial data in a specialized area for use in making program decisions or recommendations Statistical and data analysis of program financial related information Organizational financial performance metrics Financial data analysis and modeling Financial project management and coordination and Financial policy development and analysis.
1. Program and System Analysis
Develop monitor and update program budgets forecasts and cost estimates
Prepare and analyze financial reports highlight variances and recommend corrective action.
Review and assess programs policies or systems to identify strengths weaknesses and areas for improvement
Analyze data to determine program needs performance trends and opportunities for optimization
Assist in defining program goals and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders
2. Data Collection and Analysis
Gather relevant data through surveys interviews or system reports
Use analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns correlations and insights
Perform data validation and quality control to ensure accuracy
3. Reporting and Documentation
Prepare reports memos and summaries on program performance findings and recommendations
Maintain records of program changes outcomes and documentation for compliance or audit purposes
4. Support for Strategic Planning
Participate in meetings to discuss program strategies budget controls and resource allocation
5. Technical and Administrative Support
In some roles assist with correspondence editing and proofreading for program-related communications
Coordinate tasks and correspondence through internal systems (e.g. Correspondence and Task Management Systems)
6. Problem-Solving and Recommendations
Identify issues or inefficiencies in programs or systems and recommend solutions
Work independently and as part of a team to implement improvements
Basic Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Business. Certification in Financial Planning.
Telework and Travel:Hybrid in Lexington Park MD. <5% Travel.
Contract:This is an internal (corporate) role.
