Junior Maintenance Technician

DaytoDay Duties

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on pool filtration systems pumps heaters and related mechanical components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures; replace or repair faulty parts on site.
• Assist senior technicians with larger repair projects and respond to emergency service calls.
• Complete work orders log service activities and maintain accurate parts inventories.
• Perform waterquality testing and adjust chemistry as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards local regulations and company policies while on the job.
• Communicate service status and recommendations clearly to customers and internal staff.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new pool technologies and best practices.

MustHaves (Essential Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification in pool or mechanical maintenance is a plus.
• 24 years of handson experience in pool maintenance residential/commercial pool service or a related mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Ability to lift climb and work comfortably in wet or confined spaces.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and a customerfocused attitude.

NicetoHaves (Desired Additional Skills)

• Certification in pool water chemistry or related safety courses.
• Experience with a variety of pool equipment brands and models.
• Familiarity with basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and client interaction.
• Ability to mentor junior staff or apprentices.

Annual Salary Range: $52000$72800 (USD) based on experience and qualifications.
