• As a Junior Camp Counselor with Mad Science you will assist with our interactive STEM camps. Our camps feature LOTS of hands-on activities exciting demonstrations and fun take-home projects. Build and fly rockets demonstrate lasers explore the states of matter using dry ice and help our campers create slime. You will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really about.

• Supervising campers ages 6-11
• Assisting campers with hands-on projects
• Leading active games
• Cleaning and packing equipment as needed
• All camps are half-day morning camps from 9 am - 12 pm. Camp staff hours are 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
• Travel to different camp locations each week. Camps are located in Chesapeake Virginia Beach Norfolk and Suffolk.
• Enjoy teaching children the fascinating wonders of science!

• Experience working with elementary age children is a must
• A valid drivers license and reliable car
• Available majority of summer camp season (June 15 - August 14
• Available for training beginning June 6
• Fun and outgoing personality
• Bachelors Degree not required great job for recent high school graduate/current college student
