At 13WMAZ the TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate in Macon GA were offering something genuinely rare in media sales a job share Account Executive position. This isnt a part-time role with part-time pay. Its a professionally structured opportunity to earn a strong competitive income while still being able to dedicate time every week to what matters most to you outside of work.
This is a true partnership. Youll work together with an experienced Account Executive sharing a strong portfolio of established clients while actively pursuing new business. Together youll drive television and digital revenue and individually youll build the kind of client relationships that fuel long-term growth.

What Youll Do
Consistently prospect for new revenue using client and category insights
Upsell current clients across WMAZs full product portfolio
Create custom solutions-driven campaigns that meet customer needs across broadcast television streaming (OTT) and other digital assets
Build key client relationships by understanding their business needs and competitive landscape
Partner with Account Managers to provide seamless campaign execution and exceptional customer service
Strategically use stations CRM software to manage activity pipeline and forecasts
Represent 13WMAZ professionally in the community and with local businesses

What You Need
13 years of sales experience
A proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing new business
Valid drivers license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire to win
Strong business acumen with attention to detail and accuracy
Effective time management and organizational skills
Possess a creative mind to develop effective campaigns focused on solving customer needs
Be willing to learn all aspects of broadcasting and digital advertising to show up as a confident credible resource for every client
Work effectively within the team structure to achieve goals
