IT Support Specialist I

Empath Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in an on-site role supporting day-to-day technology needs across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting building relationships with end users and being a reliable resource for technical support. Youll play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly from setting up equipment to resolving issues and supporting ongoing IT initiatives.

Location: Ocala FL (on-site)

What youll Do

• Provide hands-on technical support for end users resolving hardware software and system issues both remotely and on-site
• Install configure and deploy end user equipment ensuring systems are set up efficiently and correctly from day one
• Maintain and track IT equipment inventory supporting lifecycle management and availability of resources
• Document issues resolutions and trends to improve response times and prevent recurring problems
• Partner with IT team members to support projects system upgrades and ongoing infrastructure initiatives
• Deliver responsive service-oriented support while escalating more complex issues when appropriate

What Youll Need

• Associates degree required (Bachelors preferred) in a related field
• Strong foundational knowledge of Windows environments Microsoft Office and end user hardware (Dell HP mobile devices)
• Experience providing hands-on technical support including remote troubleshooting and help desk support
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Valid Florida drivers license with reliable transportation to support on-site needs
