Job summary:

• The Iron Technician IV provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components.
  

Additional Information:

• Starting Pay: $31.85/hr. Can be adjusted with experience

• Schedule: 10 days on with 4 days off
  
• Overtime based on business need
  
• Relocation is not available for this position

What you will do:

• Perform All Duties of an Iron Technician II
  
• Performs all the duties of an Iron Technician III or have relevant skills/experience
  
• Demonstrated leadership skills
  
• Job preparation and completion
  
• Maintain flow of customer product through the shop
  
• Quality control of customer flow control product
  
• Proficient in customer relations
  
• When the manager/supervisor is not present assigns duties to complete all necessary daily service center work
  
• Revises work assignments to meet production schedules priorities
  
• Explain service center procedures and specifications and demonstrates use of equipment and testing to new employees
  
• Assists workers in resolving technical problems
  
• Consults with technical personnel and managers/supervisors to report and resolve assembly and testing problems and reports unresolved problems
  
• Obtains and distributes supplies materials and equipment such as components and parts used for work assembly test and inspection specifications. Test equipment fixtures and hand tools
  
• Reports on substandard equipment performance to supervisor or maintenance personnel
  
• Substitutes for absent workers and assists workers to alleviate work overload
  
• Understand all customer contractual requirements
  
• Consults with manager/supervisor and reviews service center schedules.
  
• Knowledge of Syteline: Transfer Orders Receiving Order Customer Estimates
  
• Performs other routine duties as requested
  

What you will have:

• One to three yearsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Demonstrate consistency accountability reliability and solid work ethic

• Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment
  
• Experience with FC style and FLS style gate valves
  

Top Candidates will have:

• Abilitytooperatehandtools such ashammers screw drivers hydraulic torque wrenches and additional specialty tools including micrometers
  
• Must be at least 21 years of age
  
• Have a clean driving record which generally means:
  • No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months.
  • No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
    

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

• Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral visiondepthperceptionandability to adjust focus

• Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
  

Work Environment:

• Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles

• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions

• Occasionally exposed to high precarious places and vibration

• Noise Level: Moderate
