DUTIES (Teaching & Educational Leadership)

Faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track

Supervise Internal Medicine residents

Clinical teaching in Primary care Population health Value-based care Health equity-focused practice

Teach residents to integrate in social determinants of health community-engaged care approaches equity-centered clinical decision making

Participate in journal clubs lecture series case conferences resident workshop

Mentor residents in quality improvement initiatives health equity research scholarly activities/projects

Collaborate with residency and program leadership to develop and improve curriculum

Provide formative and summative feedback to residents to support professional growth

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active TX Medical License or willing to obtain

BC/BE

At least one professional reference within the last 24 months

Experience in medical education health equity population health or value-based care (highly preferred)

Completion of an ACGME or AMA-approved residency program

Clean Record (highly preferred)
