Job Summary
Your Role
What You Will Do
- Responsible for interior design deliverables that include interpreting clients needs space planning conceptual design schematic design design development and construction documentation
- Deliver design solutions requiring independent judgment and application of best practices
- Responsible for the selection and presentation of furniture systems fixtures and equipment (FF&E) color palettes and lighting
- Generate design with 3D models Revit Sketchup or other software create digital 3D view to communicate design concepts
- Select interior finishes and reflected ceiling plans elevations details specifications and material selections needed for construction
- Lead design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
- Serve as a primary contact for external consultants product representatives furniture dealers and fabricators
- Guide and mentor less experienced teammates
Your Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Interior Architecture Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
- 6-10 years of relevant interior design and interior architecture experience within a commercial design firm
- Experience designing and delivering project types such as: Workplace Interiors Commercial Office Buildings City and County Government buildings and interiors and Education spaces is preferred
- Great reputation in the design community with clients vendors and consultants
- NCIDQ certified (If you are in the process of obtaining certification feel free to contact to discuss whether there is another position that may be aligned with your background)
- Strong leadership verbal and written communication presentation and relationship management skills
- Highly proficient with Revit
- LEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices
