- Ensure the airworthiness and safety of aircraft and components by performing inspections and maintaining records in compliance with FAA and company regulations. - Update and manage computer maintenance tracking programs and generate maintenance due lists regularly. - Review and oversee maintenance records work packages and documentation for completeness and accuracy. - Conduct preliminary in-progress hidden damage and final inspections of aircraft post-maintenance. - Certify workmanship quality and sign mechanical flight releases after verifying completed work meets standards. - Stay current with FAA specifications airworthiness directives manufacturers instructions and technical data. - Tag and mark unserviceable or rejected parts as per regulatory requirements. - Properly complete and execute FAA forms (8010-4 337) and maintenance releases for items returned to service. - Ensure no defective or un-airworthy parts are installed on any aircraft or component. - Follow all company and FAA policies procedures and repair station manuals. - Assist and support the Chief Inspector with delegated responsibilities. - Work 10-hour shifts with overtime and weekends as needed in a 24/7 facility. - Must hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification and have at least 5 years of commercial or regional aircraft maintenance experience. - Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Peru IN and pass all required background security and drug/alcohol screenings.
