Job Summary
Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager for the Seattle WA location to administer design and engineer the companys Citrix/Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) farms to deliver applications to remote users at corporate sites branch offices and outsourced locations.
Responsibilities:
Meet with business teams to provide optional technology solutions for application delivery to remote users at corporate sites branch offices and outsourced locations.
Utilize entire suite of Citrix and Virtual products including Citrix Cloud (DaaS) ControlUP LiquidWare Citrix App Layering Azure and VMWare ESX/VCenter.
Manage servers and desktops within a VMware ESX environment including utilizing VMWare and Citrix software to manage thousands of virtual servers which support a user base of 65000 colleagues throughout the company.
Lead diverse team of industry experts supporting 65000 colleagues globally using Citrix products and tools.
Define and drive the strategic direction of the Citrix infrastructure and related virtualization technologies.
Align Citrix engineering initiatives with broader IT and business goals.
Promote team development by providing training opportunities and stretch assignments.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Oversee hiring training and performance evaluations.
Drive automation and optimization of Citrix operations and infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including networking security desktop support and application teams.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Translate technical concepts into business value and impact.
Lead proof-of concept initiatives and pilot programs.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Information Systems Computers or Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience.
Requires experience with: Administration of Citrix farms via management console;
With Citrix infrastructure design for large scale deployments;
Administration of Citrix Management utilities such as: Citrix License Server Citrix PVS (Provisioning Services) ControlUP Cloud Connectors Citrix App Layering;
Managing and engineering Citrix NetScaler technology for access gateway ssl/vpn ICA proxy and load-balancing solutions;
Administration of Terminal Server Licensing and Management of User Profiles via Citrix WEM and UPM;
Virtualizing and streaming applications in MS App-V and Citrix App Layering; and
Writing scripts for automating tasks app deployments and reports.
Range: $198390-$230500
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 138300 - 230500 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
