A Japanese-affiliated logistics company in the Bay Area (San Mateo County) is seeking an Import & Export Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities:
Review import/export documents for accuracy
Data entry and transmission of shipment information
Monitor cargo release and arrival status
Create delivery orders and shipment files
Communicate with U.S. Customs vendors clients airlines and shipping companies
Coordinate with internal teams regarding shipment status and documentation
Provide administrative and operational support as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience in the logistics field is a plus but not required
Basic computer and communication skills
Detail-oriented and responsible
Interest in logistics import/export or international business preferred
Previous office experience is a plus but not required
Compensation: $2428/hr DOE
Work Hours:
M-F 25-29 hours/wk
Work Environment:
