General Laborer Florida

Summary: The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company is currently looking for motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as General Laborers. As a General Laborer in our Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservists Cadre Team you will be responsible for providing essential logistical support during emergency operations. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading materials and ensuring the efficient movement of supplies at loading docks and loading points. This position requires individuals who are ready to be on standby and can be deployed at short notice to support emergency response efforts.

Location: Disaster Response Locations in Florida

These are seasonal positions and if activated will likely require travel on short notice generally lasting from several days to a few weeks and possibly 30 days or more depending on the disaster response needs. Ideal candidates for these missions will be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials and supplies at loading docks and loading points.
  
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of logistics operations.
  
• Ensure the safe and efficient movement of supplies and equipment.
  
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
  
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in general labor or logistics is preferred. Candidates must be capable of operating material handling equipment. This role involves working in a variety of environmental conditions including outdoor and potentially hazardous settings. Flexibility to work irregular hourssuch as nights weekends and holidaysis essential particularly during emergency deployments. The position also requires the ability to stand walk and lift for extended periods.

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects are required.
  
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are preferred.
  
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment is preferred.
  
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.
