Job Description:
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you will design develop and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operational workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical expertise problem-solving capabilities and leadership skills to drive innovation maintain platform stability and improve operational efficiency within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement ServiceNow solutions including customizations and integrations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and refine business and technical requirements
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications modules and workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related technical issues
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs and user guides
• Perform Service Mapping Discovery and Event Management configurations
• Ensure compliance with coding standards security policies and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and participate in solution design discussions
• Mentor junior developers and support team skill development
• Stay up to date with ServiceNow platform updates and industry trends
• Support Agile/Scrum-based development and delivery processes

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow APIs JavaScript HTML and CSS
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM CSM and Hardware Asset Management
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes including workflows and automation
• Experience with Service Mapping Discovery and Event Management
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist (preferred)
• Experience mentoring teams and leading technical initiatives (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
