Job Summary The Connected Solution Design Architect plays a key role in evaluating the technical feasibility of proposed app features and providing effort estimates to support planning and delivery. This position works closely with business stakeholders to assess proposed capabilities and identifies platform impacts dependencies risks and implementation assumptions to ensure requirements are realistic achievable and ready for engineering specification planning.
Responsibilities Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed app features and capabilities. Provide effort estimates to support planning prioritization and delivery decisions. Partner with business stakeholders to assess and refine proposed features as needed. Identify platform impacts technical dependencies risks and implementation assumptions. Ensure app requirements are realistic achievable and aligned to platform capabilities. Support preparation of requirements for engineering specification planning. Communicate technical considerations trade-offs and constraints to cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborate with business and technical teams to help shape solution direction early in the process.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience. Experience in solution architecture technical design or application architecture. Strong understanding of software platforms dependencies and delivery considerations. Ability to assess feasibility and provide effort estimates for software features. Experience working with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate requirements. Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in connected vehicle digital platform or enterprise application environments. Familiarity with engineering specification planning and solution governance. Knowledge of agile development practices and cross-functional product delivery.
