Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Lakeside Dental in Cornelius this role you will be the first point of contact for our patients ensuring a positive and welcoming experience while supporting our dental offices daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive ensuring a warm and professional reception.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with excellent customer service.
- Maintain and update patient records in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate communication between patients dental staff and insurance companies.
- Process payments and assist with billing as needed.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth office workflow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
- Experience with insurance processes and verification required.
