The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flightline Readiness Tech Inspector Manager (Level K) to support the Field Quality team onsite in Renton Washington.
This position requires a critical thinker with strong business acumen who is passionate about coaching and eager to drive cultural change within the organization. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability trust teamwork quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10 people.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products services and processes meet customer contract requirements engineering standards company procedures and government regulations
Develop and implement effective business plans policies and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
Provide education and coaching on the Quality System empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies ensuring compliance and safety
Acquire and manage resources efficiently leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
Inspire develop and motivate employees cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in a production/factory environment
3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)
Willing and able to work any shift (as needed to support mission requirements including weekends and holidays and to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as required)
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams within a Quality Management environment
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or an FAA Repairmans Certificate
Bachelors Degree or higher
