About the position:
Pacific Aviation is looking for a Flight Operations Manager to support and mentor our team.
Flight Operations
- Directs and coordinates through Flight Dispatchers and subordinate personnel flight operation and control activities
- of regional stations.
Experience required
- Experience of Five years in Flight Operations
- FAA Flight Dispatch License
- Knowledge of SITA/ARINC/LIDO/JEPPESEN/SABER communication/ flight planning software preferred
- Per carrier assignment training required in CFR 14 PARTCFR 14 PART 120 CFR 49 PART 40
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies/ Airports
- Capable to perform aircraft performance

- Available to work rotating shifts holidays and weekends
- Responsible for the safety of the flights
- Over-see preparation/filing of computerized Flight and ATC plans for International; Trans-Pacific/ Atlantic Flights
- Provide full weather/ operational briefing to flight crews analyze weather NOTAMS and ATC data to ensure safe operations and compliance with Airline SOPs
- Oversee and manage Flight Operations and Weight & Balance departments
- Liaise with Upper Management Clients Vendors Airport and Government Authorities to ensure station activities are in compliance with Federal State Company and Airline regulations
- Manage and develop personnel (Flight Dispatch and Weight & Balance) to maximize operational performance in areas of on-time performance staffing training and safety
- Administrative duties include preparation of staff work schedules to obtain optimum utilization of human resources and facilities
- Prepare and submit reports pertaining to flight operations payroll and Client billing
- Operate within the budget
Benefits
Salary: $72000 with a bonus potential based on performance
Full time - Available to work and train on rotating shifts holidays and weekends to cover the operational needs
