Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced highly organized Fleet Manager to oversee our vehicles and equipment coordinate maintenance and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a strong grasp of mechanical systems able to manage paperwork efficiently and lead the team by example while providing clear direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily fleet operations including scheduling maintenance and repairs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records including inspection logs maintenance schedules and compliance documents
Coordinate with mechanics and vendors to ensure timely cost-effective repairs
Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Provide leadership and training to drivers mechanics and support staff
Lead by example while offering clear direction and constructive feedback
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fleet management or a related field
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance practices
Excellent leadership and communication abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required)
