Job Summary
A well-established and multi-branch commercial contractor (Fire Suppression HVAC and Electrical) isimmediatelylooking for mechanically inclined Fire Suppression Technicians to service the Oakland CA and surrounding areas including San Jose and San Franisco CA.

Fire Suppression Technicians willinspect troubleshoot perform verifications service repair maintain and install a variety of UL commercial and multi-unit fire alarm systems fire hoses fire extinguishers fire panels and emergency lighting from a variety of brands.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least three (3) years service and/or install fire alarm and life safety equipment and systems experience
- Strong troubleshooting
- Knowledgeable of city and state building codes workplace safety requirements and standards including the California Building Code (CBC) California Fire Code (CFC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards such as NFPA 10 NFPA 72
- NICET I or Higher and/or CA State Fire/Life Safety Certification is an asset
- Ability for overnight travel 1week/month (if needed)
- Valid drivers license and clean MVOR
SHIFT: Flexible Days. No On call required
COMPENSATION:
- $38.00 - $48.00/hour
- Paid Weekly through Direct Deposit
