If you like the excitement of working with very talented colleagues in a fast-paced environment while implementing world class solutions at venerable brand name clients please submit your Duties:The primary function of the position is Systems Project execution including conducting site visits monitoring schedules and validating technicians and contractor work offering technical support and troubleshooting on-site issues overseeing equipment testing installation and planning drafting and submitting reports to superiors and other key individuals and always ensuring on-site efficiency and will work closely with the control engineers design engineering and project management to ensure proper installation connection and function of equipment on the customer site. Installed equipment may include conveyor ASRS equipment Robotic Automation and high-speed packaging equipment. Additionally the position may require working with the designing of PLC control cabinets basic programming of the PLC and support of the system. The role would team with PeakLogix Engineering and Project Managers to plan and/or execute that project installations are in a predetermined state for the controls engineering to go to site for testing and commissioning. This may require you to be on-site during the installation and testing of our and analyze customer requirements to provide input into the overall solution design and project with controls engineering and project management to supply necessary information to make sure concept of design works smoothly with equipment installationDesigning and testing PLC control cabinetsVerify installation materials electrical material and parts are ready for equipment installationTest install and support PLC based controls systems on large-scale automated pick-pack-ship line including warehouse management system using Allen Bradley and Siemens hardware and toolsReview layouts for accuracy and details required for approvalRequired Qualifications:3 years of Electrical Engineering experience1 years proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent experienceExcellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge2 years experience with troubleshooting and commission PLC solutionsExperience performing I/O checkout and wiring verificationWilling to travel up to 40% of the time to customer sitesExcellent written and verbal communication interpersonal to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely mannerGood understanding of safety guidelinesPreferred Qualifications:1 years working with SCADA2 years designing and troubleshooting control cabinets
