Experience Team – Associate Product Design Internships – Summer 2027

Team Overview 

We are the Experience Team (EX)! We are made up of ProductDesigners UX Researchers Technical Writers Design Operations and Visual Designers. 

We are successful because of the collective minds of diverse individuals within the Experience Team contributing to building innovative software that makes workflows smarter. We embrace representation in and from all professional and personal backgrounds and cultures to help propel passion and innovation in all our products.

What you get to do: 

• Learn from a team of experts in UX Design Visual Design Interaction Design UX Research and Front-End Development. 

• Work closely with designers on ServiceNows Product and Platform design teams. 

• Craft visuals that help illustrate and help reinforce storytelling from end-to-end. 

• Experience first-hand creative processes as they exist in an Enterprise software environment. 

• Develop your current skills even further and add more skills to your toolbox. 

Product Design Intern 

• Work closely with designers on ServiceNows Product and Platform design teams. 

• Create new concepts produce high-fidelity mockups and prototypes write detailed documentation and critically assess designs. 

• Experience first-hand creative processes as they exist in an Enterprise software environment. 

• Contribute to projects that bring great product experiences to our customers 

Qualifications :

• Experience in leveraging or critical thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry. 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degreein Design Human-Computer Interaction UI/UX Design Graphic/Visual Design Cognitive Science Interaction Design or related disciplines 

• Graduating May 2029 or later 

• Able to work full time for 12-weeks during the summer 

• Proficient using Figma and AI prototyping to prototype design artifacts 

• Understands user interface design heuristic methods or other usability evaluation techniques perception cognition task analysis experimental design and statistics 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and bring a willingness to learn through design thinking and execution 

• Written and verbal English communication skills including the ability to articulate and explain your design decisions 

• Ability to apply design methods to solving problems and/or project management experience preferred 

• Bonus points for having basic knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML CSS and/or JavaScript and comfort with AI coding tools to generate front-end code. 

• A go-getter ambitious problem solver with a growth mindset 

• Comfortable interfacing with various types of people and roles either in presentation setting informal stakeholder interviews or large meetings. 

• Ready to showcase your work and/or projects in form of portfolio or other formats is required at time of interview 

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $39.10 - $50.12 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
