• Prepares estimates from information received such as contract drawings
• specifications and addendums using in-house pricing software supplemental
• design and pricing programs and information obtained from vendors
• Identifies exclusions discrepancies missing information and obtains clarification
• and qualifies the quotation based on that information
• Provides adds deducts or alternates as requested to estimates that require special
• pricing beyond the current capabilities of the pricing software
• Ensures the use of the most current pricing information when preparing the
• estimate
• Builds and maintains Builder/Vendor relationships
• Communicates with Builders Sales Customer Service and Engineering regarding
• any clarification of scope/design intent that the Estimator was involved in
• Manages and prioritizes multiple workflows simultaneously
• Continually improves productivity accuracy and ability
• Understand the role in the overall system and be willing to step outside that role
• Reports to Estimating Manager
• Travel is not typical however for training purposes it may be requested.

Qualifications :

• Good mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple workflows simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
• Ability to review and interpret project specifications
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Exhibit competency of in-house design programs and procedures
• Blue Beam Top View and AutoCAD experience preferred
• Must be comfortable on the phone with customers and Field Sales

Additional Information :

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $28hr-$33hr medical dental vision benefits starting day 1 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30 hours per week.)
