Operate Caterpillar D-series dozers to execute cut/fill operations mass grading and fine grading in accordance with site plans and production targets
Perform precision grading using grade stakes lasers or GPS machine control to achieve required elevations slopes and drainage
Establish and maintain proper sub-grade conditions for roads building pads and utility installations
Read and interpret blueprints site plans and grade tolerances adjusting operations in real time to meet specifications
Coordinate with excavator operators haul truck drivers and foremen to maintain efficient material flow and minimize downtime
Manage material distribution (dirt rock aggregate) to ensure optimal compaction and site balance
Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections including fluid levels undercarriage condition and blade components
Identify grade inconsistencies unsafe conditions or potential delays and proactively communicate with site leadership
Maintain safe operating practices in high-traffic active construction zones including working around trenches utilities and personnel
Adjust techniques based on soil types moisture conditions and weather impacts to maintain productivity and quality
Support overall site progress by assisting with clearing stripping back-filling and finish work as needed
Uphold company standards for safety quality and equipment care while meeting daily production expectations
Requirements
