Entry Level Systems Engineering Engineer

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Systems Engineering Engineer to join the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) organization supporting the Executive Fleet Team in San Antonio TX.

Position Responsibilities:

• Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to assist with analyses design development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Assists with analyses to evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces.
• Assists with various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Assists with analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders and peers
• Conducts assessments of processes and practices to standards and criteria
• Assists in development of strategies plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives
• Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile flexible team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Boeing General knowledge (Engineering Supplier Management and Operation)
• Familiarity with the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a product
