Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent

Company:

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Seal Beach California.

Position Responsibilities:

• Obtains proposals evaluates sources monitors and reports supplier performance
• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Supports the sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements to comply with company procedures and federal acquisition requirements
• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in supplier management or supply chain management
• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience applying proper writing mechanics grammar and punctuation to reports essays or other detailed writings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• Entry Level 1: Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience presenting to multiple levels of an organization

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Entry Level 1: $62900 - $77700

Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: $74800 - $92400
