Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for the execution of large-scale capital projects and support of mill maintenance activities
This role oversees a team of Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers as well as a Superintendent of Process Control and Automation with additional reports across engineering and maintenance functions
Lead and manage a team of 9 direct reports including project engineers and technical specialists
Oversee planning budgeting and execution of large capital projects from concept through commissioning
Provide strategic direction and technical oversight to ensure projects meet safety quality cost and schedule objectives
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations maintenance and corporate teams to align engineering initiatives with business goals
Support mill maintenance activities by providing engineering expertise and resources as needed
Foster a culture of continuous improvement innovation and professional development within the engineering team
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety environmental and regulatory standards
