Job Summary
Position Overview:Perry Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Intervention Specialist to join our elementary team in supporting students with disabilities in grades K-6. The ideal candidate would have experience with developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPS) collaboration with families monitoring student progress and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. This position is dedicated to helping all students achieve academic behavioral social and emotional success within the least restrictive environment. Key Responsibilities:Provide direct specialized instruction to students with disabilities in individual small-group and inclusive classroom instruction to meet individual student needs and learning students in developing academic social behavioral and functional progress monitoring tools to assess student growth and adjust instruction with general education teachers to support inclusive educational :Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license for appropriate grade band. Strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices and child development Commitment to collaboration growth and student-centered learning Ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families Ability to analyze data and use it to drive instructional decisions
