Job Description:
Simple Summary: An Electronics Engineer NPD designs and develops the electronic brain of complex products from concept to production. Think of this role as an architect who designs the electronic circuits power systems controllers motors and communication systems that make a product function. Daily responsibilities include designing circuit boards selecting components troubleshooting hardware issues testing prototypes coordinating with global teams and ensuring products meet safety standards. The company hires this role to create new products improve existing products reduce technical risks and ensure products are reliable and compliant. Example: If a medical imaging device requires precise motor control and electronic sensing this engineer designs the electronics PCB architecture FPGA logic and communication interfaces that allow the device to function safely and accurately. Technologies include FPGA Embedded C Xpedition PCB Microcontrollers EMI/EMC Motion Control Systems and Medical Device Compliance Standards.
Key Responsibilities
Gather customer requirements and define technical specifications.
Design and develop analog digital and mixed-signal hardware systems.
Design embedded electronic systems using FPGA microcontrollers and microprocessors.
Develop motor control and motion control electronic systems.
Create schematics and support PCB development using Xpedition PCB tools.
Conduct circuit simulations including Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
Select and evaluate electronic components.
Lead engineering projects and ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers customers and global engineering teams.
Manage BOMs schematics engineering drawings and product documentation.
Support product teardown analysis and competitive benchmarking.
Perform hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Conduct functional module integration and qualification testing.
Ensure compliance with medical device standards and regulations.
Support onsite-offshore engineering coordination.
