Position Summary:
Lead a team of FPGA engineers developing firmware for secure tactical communication products.
Manage FPGA development projects including staffing schedules budgets and technical execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop FPGA-based solutions for wireless communication systems.
Oversee team performance career development and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of FPGA engineers.
Set performance goals development plans and training objectives for team members.
Oversee timecard approvals and supervisory responsibilities.
Drive project execution to meet technical schedule and cost objectives.
Develop FPGA project schedules resource plans and cost estimates.
Manage budgets and timelines for firmware development programs.
Maintain and improve FPGA development processes and methodologies.
Work with cross-functional teams to define design develop and verify FPGA solutions.
Support delivery of embedded FPGA firmware for communication products.
Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or another STEM discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience developing and verifying FPGA/ASIC-based embedded systems.
Demonstrated project leadership and technical management experience.
Strong understanding of FPGA/ASIC development and verification processes.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
