Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer, Associate or Experienced

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate/Experienced (P2 or P3) Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at at Hill Air Force Base (AFB) Utah. Position Responsibilities:

• Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.

• Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.

• Validates designs through various methods of review testing and analysis.

• Identifies tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.

• Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.

• Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.

• Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

• Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.An interim and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical Mechanical or Aeronautical) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• Associate Level 2: Typically 2 or more years related work experience

• Experienced Level 3: Typically 5 or more years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience.

• Previous Global Positioning System (GPS) data receiver/processor design experience.

• Previous data encryption algorithm design experience.

• Previous Radio Frequency (RF) system design experience.

• Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g. design test software technology avionics).

• Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g. Operations Logistics Business).

• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience and/or certifications.

• Current active clearance is preferred.
