Electrical Department Manager

STV is seeking an experienced Electrical Department Manager to lead and grow our electrical engineering group at our Douglassville PA office. This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers and designers overseeing project execution maintaining technical quality and supporting business development efforts.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in electrical power/design systems with proven leadership and team management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering Department including engineers designers and support staff.
• Oversee project delivery scheduling and budget performance across multiple projects.
• Provide technical direction for design of medium- and low-voltage power systems lighting grounding and related infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC NFPA IEEE etc.).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural mechanical civil and structural) to deliver integrated designs.
• Mentor and supervise engineering staff. Support professional development and performance improvement.
• Review and approve engineering documents specifications calculations and reports.
• Support business development through proposal preparation client interaction and strategic growth initiatives.
• Manage staffing levels workload planning and resource allocation.
• Serve as a technical representative in meetings with clients contractors and stakeholders.
