Job Summary

Position Description



Position Overview:

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed inventories of office supplies and election forms required to be stored on-site for election conjunction with partner departments this role assists with the Supply Pickup and Supply Drop-off processes for election judges. It also manages and supports the preparation of Early Voting and Election Day supply boxes for election judges as well as cabinets shipped to each polling location. Additionally this position is responsible for learning and supporting training initiatives and managing the archiving of ballots.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clerks and temporary staff by providing on-the-job orientation mentoring and training.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department for the preparation of election materials for upcoming elections.
  • Conduct performance assessments and work quality evaluations of direct reports to ensure that the departments election support objectives are met.
  • Ensure supply chain policies and procedures are kept current and adhered to by personnel.
  • Must be willing to be cross-trained to support other election functions.
  • Schedule and hold monthly staff meetings to brief staff on supply chain issues performance deadlines staff recognition and training.

Requirements

Must meet all eligibility requirements to register to vote in the State of Texas.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a team leader or supervisor in a similar or related position required.


Licensure:

  • Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation required.

Preferences

  • One (1) years of logistics or warehouse related work experience a plus.
  • Thirty (30) College hours preferred.
  • Forklift certification a plus.

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:

  • Regular Full-time

  • Hours will be discussed during departmental interview.

Salary:
  • $24.70Hourly
  • Based on 26 Pay Periods
    • Plus benefits


Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • This job requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • The role involves frequently lifting carrying pushing or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Candidates must be able to move and handle equipment and materials as needed to support both warehouse operations and training setup.
  • Regular physical activity is expected in this position.
