Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add an EH&S Manager located in Dallas TX.

Reporting to the Regional EHS Manager the EH&S Manager is responsible for directly supervising a team to execute complex Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) initiatives across office and manufacturing environments. This role ensures the effective management of EH&S programs and compliance with all applicable company policies as well as local state and federal regulations.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage through subordinate supervisors the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices manufacturing sites and plants with control results in terms of costs methods and employees.
  • Develop and administer budgets schedules and performance requirements.
  • Conduct meetings involving environmental safety training and awareness programs.
  • Oversee proper maintenance of buildings furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal state and local regulations.
  • Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
  • Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).
  • Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors customers and/or functional peer group managers.
  • Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules etc.
  • Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities including costs of contract labor equipment and materials.
  • Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures.
  • Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience were looking to add to our team

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations codes and guidelines.
  • Typically requires 7 years of related experience.
