Job Description: As a Salesforce Programmer Analyst you will be responsible for enhancing and supporting Salesforce applications by implementing scalable solutions and resolving system defects. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality CRM solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches. This role requires hands-on expertise in Salesforce development adherence to best practices and the ability to contribute to continuous improvement of application performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex classes triggers and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Follow a configuration-first approach leveraging declarative Salesforce tools wherever possible
Enhance existing applications and resolve defects to improve system functionality
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and coverage standards
Collaborate with DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment and application issues
Utilize CI/CD tools to manage builds deployments and version control processes
Document technical solutions enhancements and system changes
Work with Agile teams to define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
Track development activities and updates using project management tools
Ensure adherence to development standards security guidelines and best practices
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
Strong experience with Salesforce development including Apex triggers and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Experience following configuration-first (declarative) development approaches
Hands-on experience with Copado CI/CD for Salesforce deployments
Strong knowledge of Salesforce development lifecycle and DevOps practices
Experience writing unit tests and debugging application issues
Experience using Jira for user story management defect tracking and documentation
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
Experience with advanced Salesforce integrations and API development (preferred)
Familiarity with version control and enterprise deployment practices (preferred)
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
