About the Role A growing non-profit is looking for a Donor Development Specialist to build and deepen relationships with its donor base. This is a people role focused on outreach conversation and moving donors up the giving ladder over time. Key Responsibilities

Donor Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors through calls emails and meetings
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen donor relationships and increase giving levels over time
  • Support donor appreciation efforts and ongoing engagement initiatives

Fundraising Support

  • Assist with fundraising campaigns and help coordinate donor events and recognition efforts
  • Conduct donor research and identify new fundraising opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach messaging

Data & Reporting

  • Track donor interactions and activity within CRM systems
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and donor data management

Qualifications

  • Strong communication interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Background in sales business development fundraising or client relations
  • Self-motivated organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Experience with CRM or donor database systems preferred
  • Genuine interest in working within a mission-driven environment
