Job Summary
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Document Clerk Intern is to be responsible for many organizational tasks to ensure the legal department has the most accurate and up-to-date document it needs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining databases and files
Labeling and updating paper files
Putting files digital or paper into their proper locations
Gathering and organizing files and documents for coworkers use such as for reports
Photocopying and sending faxes
Compares data entered into computer with data listed on the original document
Entering data into the computer systems;
Conducts spot checks to verify that data is correctly entered
Deletes incorrect information and types in correct information
Adding documents to the Central Contracts Files and working files in accordance with Companys
Record Retention Policy.
Assist in responding to requests for information subpoenas and bankruptcy filings.
Assist in researching various legal topics
Summarize legal documents
Other duties as assigned
Work cooperatively with others
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular punctual and reliable attendance

Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma required
Strong organization project and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
References may be requested
Valid work authorization to work in the United States for this position
Experience working with computers
Travel Requirement:
0% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
