Job Description:
As a Network Architect you will be responsible for designing configuring and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high performance security and scalability. You will analyze network requirements implement robust solutions across LAN WAN VPN and wireless environments and provide advanced support for complex network issues. This role involves monitoring network performance maintaining architectural documentation and recommending improvements to support future growth and evolving technology landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and configure LAN WAN VPN and wireless network architectures
• Ensure network infrastructure meets security performance and reliability standards
• Monitor network performance and maintain operational dashboards and metrics
• Maintain accurate network documentation including topology diagrams and configurations
• Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated network problems
• Collaborate with system administrators and support teams to resolve cross-functional issues
• Analyze network traffic and usage trends to identify optimization opportunities
• Recommend upgrades and enhancements to improve scalability and performance
• Plan for future network growth and adoption of emerging technologies
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and failover strategies
• Ensure redundancy and resilience across network systems
• Prepare reports on network health incidents and performance metrics

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Strong experience designing and managing enterprise network infrastructures
• Expertise in LAN WAN VPN and wireless network technologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with network monitoring analysis and performance tuning
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Experience maintaining detailed network documentation and architecture diagrams
• Familiarity with server infrastructure and integration with network systems
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide advanced technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
