Basic Job Functions
The role of the Division CFO is to participate as a member of the Divisions Leadership Team and to execute on Nucors mission to Grow the Core Expand Beyond and Live our Culture. This role is expected to actively lead mentor and develop a highly-functioning cohesive team as well as work to promote cross-departmental teamwork alignment and collaboration. As a member of the leadership team this role will collaborate with the NIPG management teams to ensure alignment while combining market understanding customer insight and product vision into strategies that drive value for both the division and broader product group. Responsibilities include leading the divisions accounting and financial reporting human resources information technology purchasing and credit-related activities. This role owns the divisions overall financial strategy including forecasting working capital management and capital allocation and ensures strong governance internal controls and compliance with corporate policies legal requirements and risk-management standards while consistently demonstrating Nucors values and culture.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting business or finance
- At least two years of work experience in a financial related leadership position
- Willing and able to travel with short notice
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or MBA Credentials
- Financial experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with human resources or purchasing
