Were hiring a Director of Solution Engineering to lead and scale our pre-sales function. Youll personally own the most strategic deals while leading the team and playbooks that let us win the next ten. Youll lead a small senior team of Solution Engineers today (2 to 4) and scale it as the business grows. As ASAPP expands the role grows with it.
What Youll Do
Support Strategic Deals Directly. Lead discovery demos architecture deep-dives and POCs for our largest prospects.
Build the team. Hire develop and retain a bar-raising SE team. Set the standard for technical storytelling discovery rigor and demo craft.
Own the technical win. Partner with Sales Leadership on deal strategy. Translate CXPs capabilities into outcomes that resonate with customer executives.
Engineer repeatability. Design demos reference architectures and POC frameworks that scale without diluting quality.
Close the loop with Product. Convert competitive signals gaps and breakthrough wedges into clear input that shapes the roadmap.
De-risk the handoff. Set Implementation up to deliver in weeks not quarters.
Run the function. Own SE metrics forecasting inputs and capacity planning.
What We Need
10 years in Solution / Sales Engineering with 5 leading SE teams.
A track record of winning large enterprise deals in CX contact center AI/ML or enterprise SaaS.
Genuine technical depth: you can whiteboard a Genesys Amazon Connect or Salesforce integration and answer LLM evaluation security and data-residency questions without phoning a friend.
Executive presence with CIOs CTOs Heads of CX plus the willingness to be hands-on in a demo.
Builders instincts: youve designed the playbooks and stood up the process not just inherited them.
