Key Responsibilities

• P&L: Accountable for financial and operating performance of eBays C2C (consumer-to-consumer) marketplaces in the US and Canada

• Value Prop: Enable eBay to grow C2C share by continuously improving our offerings free structures experiences etc.

• Community: Engage with sellers to deepen our understanding of their needs and strengthen the broader seller community

• Execution: Drive all go-to-market (GTM) activations including coordination with cross-functional partners (e.g. marketing product GCX) and alignment with other markets

• Insights: Develop rigorous analysis and business cases that drive key decisions resource allocations and corrective actions

• Leadership: Build and inspire a team of direct reports and indirect partners so that we drive great customer and business results while modeling eBay DNA

• Reporting: Report key business and project metrics craft strategic narratives and serve as a thought leader for executive leadership

• Market Intel: Serve as the subject matter expert on C2C trends across customers and competitors

Skills & Experience:

• Commercial: 8-10yrs responsibility delivering growth for P&Ls or similar financial metrics (e.g. revenue)

• Marketplaces: 8-10yrs in consumer marketplaces including a deep understanding of the key growth levers

• Collaborative: Proven ability to partner effectively across a matrix including driving change thru alignment and influence

• Leadership: 5-7yrs of building and leading direct teams as well as cross-functional (aka indirect) teams

• Customer Advocacy: Strong record of deeply engaging and understanding customers to champion their needs across a company

• Communication: Mastery of influencing others through clear and compelling written and verbal comms

• Driven: Operates with urgency an intrinsic focus on making impact and a sense of extreme ownership (especially when there is ambiguity)

• Culture: Aligns with our eBay DNA - empower our community innovate boldly deliver with impact be for everyone and act with integrity

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
