Position Summary on-site
- Entry-level IT support role responsible for PC End of Life Refresh On-site in-person support of end-user desktops laptops peripherals and basic software. Provides timely troubleshooting incident resolution hardware setup and escalation to higher-level teams when needed. Focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a secure functional user environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person technical support for desktops laptops printers monitors docking stations phones and common peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues (OS standard business applications email VPN network connectivity).
- Perform workstation builds imaging OS installs and system refreshes following approved images and checklists.
- Install configure and replace hardware components and peripherals; perform cable management and basic office device setup.
- Execute standard account administration tasks (password resets account unlocks basic Active Directory tasks) per documented procedures.
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows: set up new user equipment transfer data and collect/erase devices at termination.
- Maintain inventory of spare equipment consumables and parts; report low-stock or faulty items.
- Follow security best practices: ensure patching antivirus status device encryption and secure disposal of sensitive materials.
- Provide excellent customer service; communicate status and next steps clearly to end-users
