Job Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative maintenance per published schedule. Performs corrective maintenance as needed in a timely fashion. Documents within GMP systems that all required tasks have been completed.
• Assist Engineers in carrying out engineering evaluations / troubleshooting.
• Oversees inventory on all spare parts and equipment consumables.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with motors sensors control systems and related components.
• Follow OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe maintenance practices
• Setup production equipment. Train operators on the use of production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and technical documentation
• Ability to coordinate repairs and spare part purchases with vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Keys to Success:

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• 2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience working as a mechanic or technician preferred
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical packaging equipment (fillers labeling machines blister machines bottle capping induction sealers card sealers.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

• Ability to read and follow directions
• Ability to complete GMP documentation
• Ability to work independently
