Job Summary

Delivery Driver

Picking up orders from warehouses and verifying that they are in good condition and complete

Planningoptimalroutes using GPS or other navigation tools

Delivering orders to customers on assigned routes

Maintaining an organized travel schedule and ensuring that deliveries are made on time

Inspecting the delivery vehicle daily and reporting any malfunctions or damages. Cleaning interior and exterior of delivery van.

Assistingwith loading and unloading items from the vehicle

Communicating with customers in a professional manner and handling complaints or concerns

Documenting each delivery by collecting signatures or confirmations on sales orders

Adhering to traffic laws andalways practicing safe driving

Ensuringwarehouseandofficeare organized and clean.
