Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing end-to-end order processing activities while delivering exceptional customer support. This role involves handling customer inquiries coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely order fulfillment and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is customer-focused detail-oriented and experienced in order management and customer service operations.
Responsibilities:
Execute and manage order processing transactions accurately and in a timely manner from order entry through delivery commitment.
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries related to orders product availability pricing billing shipping and documentation.
Handle customer order issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve concerns efficiently.
Manage accounts and order backlogs while proactively communicating delays and alternative solutions to customers.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipment pickup and delivery.
Liaise with manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors as needed.
Work with Finance teams regarding Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable issues.
Participate in process improvement initiatives related to order management and customer support operations.
Meet operational KPIs and SLA requirements consistently.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare reports and perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or some college education required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and order processing preferred.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage difficult customer interactions professionally.
Excellent phone email and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ERP systems Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
