Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at a leading manufacturing company specializing in products and solutions for the industries we serve. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with our clients ensuring timely and accurate communication and supporting the delivery of high-performance solutions in a fast-paced regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial or military and aerospace clients managing inquiries orders and support requests
  • Proficiency in handling RFQs RFPs and contract review processes for defense/aerospace clients
  • Process customer orders quotes and returns with accuracy and efficiency using ERP systems
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering production logistics) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates delays or changes to customers
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions transactions and feedback
  • Assist in resolving issues related to product quality delivery or documentation
  • Support sales team with customer data reporting and follow-up activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
  • 2 years of customer service experience preferably in manufacturing or defense/aerospace sectors
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Knowledge of military/aerospace industry standards and terminology is a plus i.e. ITAR EAR DFARS AS9100 and ISO 9001 MIL-STDs and aerospace documentation protocols
  • U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR regulations
