Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an overnight imaging role in a fast-paced orthopedic hospital setting. This position offers a low-volume independent night shift environment with exposure to both hospital and outpatient orthopedic imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures across orthopedic cases
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Work independently during overnight shifts
- Provide imaging support for inpatient outpatient ER and ICU patients
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
- Assist with patient transport and movement when necessary
Requirements
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Active New York State License required
- IV Certification required or willingness to obtain prior to start
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
- Strong X-ray proficiency required
- Ability to work independently in an overnight setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Orthopedic imaging experience preferred
- Siemens CT experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
